UTAH'S OWN HOGLE ZOO — A day at Utah's Hogle Zoo is a perfect outing for any family.
The kids can enjoy seeing some amazing animals. Mom and dad get a reprieve of listening to the kids bicker because they're having too much fun, and it's just a great atmosphere. But there is one thing that you may want to be aware of. If you're a baby, a lioness may try to eat you.
OK, that's not entirely true, but this video from Hollie Mathison Poore is pretty fantastic. In the video shot at Utah's Hogle Zoo, a little baby boy is sitting in front of the lioness exhibit minding his own business when a lioness trots up behind him and starts pawing at the glass frantically in what looks like an attempt to get the little tyke.
I'm joking when I say the lioness wants to eat the adorable little dude, he may just want to play with him. I have no idea, I failed my lioness psychology class in college.
Whatever this lioness is trying to do, it's pretty funny, but it's the little boy's reaction that really seals the deal. The little guy has no idea a wild animal is mock attacking him just inches away, all he knows is there is a whole group of people laughing at him and he doesn't know why. He's got this look in his eye like he's thinking, "What did I do? Did I do something? Why are you laughing? Why are you giving me a complex? I'm only a year old for crying out loud. I'm too young to have a complex!"
I'm pretty sure that's what he's thinking because I did pass my reading baby's minds class in college.
So pack up the family and head to the zoo, just make sure your kids don't look too delicious.
