MIAMI (AP) — Aaron Judge not only leads the majors in home runs, he's now the Home Run Derby champion too. The New York Yankees outfielder rattled the rafters at Miami's Marlins Park last night with some majestic shots, at least three of which were estimated to have traveled more than 500 feet. One shot hit the roof 160 feet above the field, but that drive didn't count.

MIAMI (AP) — Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer (SHUR'-zur) and the Boston Red Sox Chris Sale will be the starting pitchers for tonight's All-Star game. Scherzer is 10-5 on the season and leads the majors with a 2.10 ERA. Sale has a major league-high 178 strikeouts and is 11-4 with a 2.75 ERA.

LONDON (AP) — Novak Djokovic has advanced to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, He beat Adrian Mannarino, 6-2, 7-6, 6-4, in a fourth-round match that was postponed from Monday. They played on Centre Court under a closed roof, because of rain.

LONDON (AP) — Rain has disrupted play at Wimbledon. Garbine Muguruza (GAHR'-been-yuh MOO'-guh-roo-sah) and Svetlana Kuznetsova (svet-LAH'-nah kooz-NET'-soh-vah) have started their women's quarterfinal on the No. 1 Court. Unlike Centre Court, the No. 1 Court does not have a roof.

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The International Olympic Committee has been hearing bids from cities looking to host the 2024 Summer Games. Los Angeles is in the running, and Mayor Eric Garcetti was among those who made a 45-minute pitch. Paris has also made a bid, with President Emmanuel Macro taking the lead. IOC members will vote later today on President Thomas Bach's proposal to also award the 2028 hosting rights when they next meet in September.
