MIDVALE, Utah (AP) — No one was hurt but 60 people have been displaced in a large apartment fire in south suburban Salt Lake City.
The Unified Fire Authority said the Friday evening fire started in a third-story unit of the apartment complex in the city of Midvale.
It was extinguished within half an hour by the state's largest fire department.
The property sustained heavy smoke damage that forced about 30 children and 30 adults to be displaced.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
