At first glance, Mortuary Sciences 1010 may seem like an odd choice of class, especially for a community college. Students, insert your shock and disgust now.
"Not into the dead people thing."
Clearly not all students feel this way. Some say it's a fascinating subject. Instructor Shannon Warenski says he is expecting a few nervous jokes about it, and says that just how some people death with death.
Shannon Warenski: "There's going to be an opportunity to see the lighter side of some things, but, we're also going to focus on the serious things as well."
Warenski says he knows some students may be a little shocked about working with a dead body, so he's not planning to show that this semester.
