SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (AP) -- A Kearns man accused in the multiple stabbing of another man earlier this month now faces charges.
Yesterday, the 43-year-old man was charged with second degree aggravated assault. He's accused of using a foot-long steak knife to stab the other man.
The incident happened on August 16th on West Gregson Avenue in South Salt Lake.
Court documents say the man claims he stabbed the other man after he had choked him when he opened the front door of his apartment.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. However, authorities say he's expected to recover.
