(KSL News) A question of safety was raised today over an important tool used to protect children. A new study out from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety shows 13 booster seats do not put children in the best position to be protected from a crash.
Researchers say while the seats are an important safety measure, they don't "position safety belts" properly for the best protection. Safety advocates fear parents could misconstrue information in the report and give up on boosters altogether.
