(KSL News) More than 6,000 Utah Muslims gathered this morning to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Members of the faith filled the Southtowne Expo Center in Sandy to participate in a special prayer service, ending the month long fast.
And after 30 days of abstaining from food and drink from sunrise to sunset, this marks the beginning of Eid, a three-day festival.
Utah Muslims join a billion others around the world observing the Islamic festival with food and festivities.
