The FBI director and National Security Agency director are slated to testify. The panel's ranking Democrat says documents the Justice Department and FBI delivered to the panel last week offers circumstantial evidence that U.S. citizens colluded with Russians in efforts to interfere in the presidential election.
WASHINGTON (AP) — A Congressional Budget Office analysis concludes that older people would likely pay higher premiums under the proposal to repeal and replace Barack Obama's health care law. House Speaker Paul Ryan tells Fox News he believes the analysis isn't accurate but agrees that people in their 50s and 60s experience higher health care costs. He says he'll seek changes to the GOP health care bill to provide more help to older people not eligible for Medicare.
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — A wildfire is raging just west of downtown Boulder, Colorado. Authorities say 426 homes have been evacuated. Emergency officials have warned residents in an additional 836 homes to be prepared to leave if conditions worsen. The fire has burned just over 60 acres a couple of miles from the university town's main shopping and dining thoroughfare. It is 20 percent contained, and winds are expected to pick up.
BOSTON (AP) — Boston's St. Patrick's Day parade is being called a success. Tens of thousands of people lined the streets today amid high spirits even after a dispute over whether a gay veterans group could march. Some parade-goers say they would have attended no matter how the dispute turned out. Parade organizers originally banned the OutVets group but reversed course this month after coming under fire by high-profile politicians.
AGAWAM, Mass. (AP) — A new kind of roller coaster experience is set to premiere next month at Six Flags New England. The Galactic Attack Virtual Realty Coaster is billed as a fully immersive, virtual riding experience on the Agawam park's iconic Mind Eraser coaster. When riders board and put on Samsung Gear VR headsets, a fighter spaceship cockpit materializes and puts them into a tunnel of light. At the bottom of the first hill, riders are launched into a battle.
