TAYLORSVILLE — Officers with the Unified Police Department have located an elderly man whom they issued an endangered missing person alert for on Saturday.

Blayde Bax, 85, was last seen near 4700 South and Redwood Road around 11 a.m. Saturday. The endangered alert was issued because Bax suffers from dementia and had gone missing before, police said.

Less than two hours after alert went out, Bax was found in the area of 5500 South and 900 West. He appeared to be in good condition, police said.

No further information was given.
