Price spoke to reporters before a meeting with House Republicans. It's unclear whether top Republicans can resolve the party's internal wrangling over the high-profile measure.
LONDON (AP) — A spokesman for Britain's prime minister says the White House has promised not to repeat a claim that British spies snooped on President Donald Trump. Prime Minister Theresa May's spokesman says Britain has made it clear to the U.S. that the "ridiculous" claims should be ignored. He says Washington has assured London they will not be repeated.
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Firefighters have extinguished most of the flames that destroyed an apartment building under construction in Raleigh, North Carolina. The fire damaged about 10 nearby buildings, including a 17-story office and residential tower. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — Investigators are searching the rubble of a house in suburban Washington, D.C. that was leveled by a thunderous explosion overnight. Authorities in Rockville, Maryland, say they have no reports of any injuries. But neighbors say a man lived in the house. It's not known if anyone was inside at the time of the blast.
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The board game Monopoly is making changes. After a worldwide vote, the boot has gotten the boot, the wheelbarrow has been wheeled away, and the thimble is no longer nimble. In their place this fall will be a T-rex, a penguin and a rubber ducky. The existing Scottish Terrier, battleship, racecar, top hat and cat tokens will carry on.
