SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake fire investigators on Tuesday were sifting through the remains of a large fire at a vacant club.
Salt Lake City firefighters were called to the old Club Expose, 204 W. 2100 South, about 1 a.m. The business has been closed and abandoned for some time, according to fire officials.
Investigators believe the fire was human-caused and started inside the building, and they were looking at the possibility of squatters. Whether the fire was started on purpose or accidentally was unknown Tuesday.
Firefighters were also called to the club in 2013 for a fire when it was also vacant.
Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
