NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — De'Aaron Fox scored a career-high 28 points, including seven straight down the stretch, and Malik Monk added 20 to lift No. 8 Kentucky past Alabama 79-74 in the Southeastern Conference Tournament semifinal. Top-seeded Kentucky will face the winner of the other semifinal between Vanderbilt and Arkansas in tomorrow's championship game.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Derrick Walton Jr. had 29 points, nine assists and five rebounds to carry eighth-seeded Michigan into the Big Ten title game with an 84-77 victory over fourth-seeded Minnesota. The Wolverines have defeated Illinois, Purdue and Minnesota since their plane skidded off the runway earlier in the week and delayed their arrival in D.C. They'll face No. 24 Wisconsin or Northwestern in tomorrow's final.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — San Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be out indefinitely due to a minor heart arrhythmia. The five-time All-Star will have further tests before the Spurs can determine just how long he will be out. Aldridge joins forward Kawhi Leonard and point guards Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray on the sidelines for tonight's game against Golden State.

NEW YORK (AP) — New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist is out two to three weeks with a lower-body injury. The team has recalled goaltender Magnus Hellberg from Hartford of the AHL on an emergency basis. Lundqvist played New York's entire game Tuesday against Florida and stopped 43 of 45 shots.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — Red Sox left-hander David Price has taken a first step in his recovery from a sore elbow ahead of schedule, throwing into a net in a batting cage. Manager John Farrell says Price made 25 easy tosses today before a Red Sox split squad played the Tampa Bay Rays.
