SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police are investigating the early morning death of a man who was struck by a car while standing in the travel lanes of an expressway in Taylorsville.

The woman was not hurt. Police tried to revive the man but he died at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police are continuing to investigate but so far no citation has been issued to the driver who wasn't able to avoid hitting the many on the dark roadway.
