OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The two clubs battling for the lead in the NBA's Northwest Division are squaring off tonight. First-place Utah is visiting second-place Oklahoma City and the Jazz enter the game with a three game lead.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Golden State continues its eastern swing tonight with a game in the nation's capital. The Warriors come in with the best record in the league and in first place in the Pacific Division. The home standing Wizards currently top the Southeast Division by two games over Atlanta.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — There's one game tonight in men's top-25 schedule with two ranked schools participating. That game has No. 17 Duke playing host to No. 15 Florida State. In the ACC standings visiting FSU is tied for second with a record of 11-5 while Duke is 10-6.

UNDATED (AP) — The NHL leading Washington Capitals are stocking up for the playoff run. The Caps on Monday acquired defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk from St. Louis in a trade. It was costly as the Caps traded a 2017 first-round pick, forward Zach Sanford, a conditional 2019 draft pick and minor league forward Brad Malone to the Blues for Shattenkirk and goaltender Pheonix Copley.

UNDATED (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers have put the exclusive franchise tag on All-Pro running back Le'Veon (LEH'-vee-ahn) Bell. In making the announcement the Steelers said they want to make the 25-year-old a part of the organization "for life." He led the NFL in average yards from scrimmage last season and became the first player in NFL history to average at least 100 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving per game.
