UNDATED (AP) — Top-ranked and Big 12 regular season champ Kansas hosts Oklahoma tonight as part of the top-25 college basketball schedule. PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers want to make running back Le'Veon (LEH'-vee-ahn) Bell a part of the organization "for life" and placed the exclusive rights franchise tag on the All-Pro, ensuring that he'll remain with the team in 2017. The tag gives the Steelers time to work out a long-term deal with Bell, who could have become a free agent next month. The 25-year-old led the NFL in average yards from scrimmage last season.
PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have placed a non-exclusive franchise tag on outside linebacker Chandler Jones. The non-exclusive tag allows the Cardinals to continue negotiating with Jones through July 15, and if another team makes him an offer, Arizona can either match it or receive two first-round draft picks.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — The Ottawa Senators are gearing up for a push to the postseason, acquiring forward Alex Burrows from Vancouver for prospect Jonathan Dahlen. The 35-year-old Burrows has played 822 regular-season games with the Canucks, with 193 goals, 191 assists and 1,066 penalty minutes. He's added 19 goals and 15 assists in 70 playoff games.
