ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Goalie John Gibson is missing the Anaheim Ducks' game against the Boston Bruins with a lower-body injury.

The Ducks recalled Jhonas Enroth from their AHL affiliate in San Diego to back up Jonathan Bernier on Wednesday night.

Gibson is 23-15-8 with a 2.24 goals-against average while starting 45 of the Ducks' first 61 games in his first season as their No. 1 starter. He has posted five shutouts and a .922 save percentage.

Gibson played in his seventh consecutive game Monday after Bernier was chased early when he allowed three goals on Arizona's first six shots. Bernier is 8-5-2 in his first season with Anaheim.

The Ducks acquired Enroth from Toronto in December. The Swede has suited up for five NHL teams in just over two years.
