(KSL News) More than 100 volunteers with the Utah Food Bank were on hand today to deliver food to homebound senior citizens.
The event is held annually as part of Hunger Action Month to honor Lowell Bennion, a longtime advocate for seniors and the homeless.
Utah Food Bank Services says 19.1 million pounds of food was distributed throughout the state last year.
