JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Andris Misters scored 17 points, including a 3-pointer for the lead in the final seconds, and Jacksonville snapped a two-game skid, edging NJIT 76-73 on Saturday night.

The Dolphins (16-12, 4-7 Atlantic Sun) trailed 73-71 with seven seconds left when Misters sank a 3-pointer to put the Dolphins up by one and Darien Fernandez sank a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining to seal the win.

Jacksonville led 42-37 at the break but NJIT battled back in the second half to take a 69-67 lead on back-to-back 3-pointers by Tim Coleman with 3:41 to go.

J.R. Holder scored 20 points for the Dolphins. Marcel White had 11 points and Tanner Rubio 10. The team averaged 49 percent shooting from the floor, 52 percent from 3-point range, and 89 percent from the line.

Coleman finished with 23 points for the Highlanders (9-18, 1-10), who have lost eight straight.
