ROOSEVELT, Utah (AP) -- A man who pleaded guilty to physically abusing a 76-year-old Alzheimer's patient last year has been sentenced.
A judge has ordered 19-year-old Matthew Roy Lawson of Roosevelt to 20 days in jail, probation and community service.
Lawson had pleaded guilty to third-degree abuse of a vulnerable adult.
Prosecutors say Lawson pinched the woman's breasts and pretended to hit her. They also say Lawson apparently thought his actions were funny.
In addition to jail, Lawson was also ordered to pay a 13-hundred dollar fine and a 35-hundred dollar donation to an organization that provides services to the elderly.
