EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Juan Pablo Angel and Dave van den Bergh both scored in the second half to give the New York Red Bulls a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake on Saturday night.

The Red Bulls (9-7-8) are now 8-1-3 at the Meadowlands this year, while Real Salt Lake (8-9-7), undefeated in 12 games at home, is now 1-9-2 on the road.

Real Salt Lake took a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute when Yura Movsisyan outran Gabriel Cichero and tapped the ball with the outside of his right foot to the left of Red Bulls goalkeeper Jon Conway. It was his third goal in the last five games.

The Red Bulls were able to tie it 4 minutes into the second half when Angel got around Jamison Olave, who went down on contact, and slotted the ball inside the far post.

It was Angel's ninth goal of the year and seventh in his last nine games. Later in the half, van den Bergh hugged the offside line and beat Nick Rimando inside the far post for his sixth goal of the year.

Movsisyan failed to tie the game in the 75th minute, when his shot from 16 yards out deflected off Conway's hand and the near post.
