US business magazine Forbes has ranked JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, as the ninth highest celebrity earner in the world.
Rowling, who reportedly earns GBP77 per minute, was the only non-American on the list. Steven Spielberg, a Hollywood director and producer, was ranked in first place.
Rowling is currently working on the seventh and final book of the Harry Potter series.
