YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — James Thompson IV and Willie Mangum IV scored 23 points apiece and Eastern Michigan cruised past NAIA Siena Heights 117-55 on Sunday for its fourth straight victory.

The Eagles scored 64 points in the first half — one point shy of a Convocation Center record for points in a half. The Eagles also set a single-game program record with 26 assists.

Ty Toney added 14 points for Eastern Michigan (6-3), which played for the first time since Nov. 30. Tim Bond had 12 points, a career-high 10 assists and seven steals.

Thompson and Mangum each scored 17 points in the first half on 7-of-11 shooting. The Eagles only missed 13 of their 40 field-goal attempts for 67.5 percent.

Kevin Smith II made three 3-pointers and scored nine points for Siena Heights. The Saints were held to 5 of 26 from the field (19.2 percent) in the opening 20 minutes and finished at 31.5 percent.
