THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

This morning was the Chamber’s Military Appreciation March. On this flag day, let’s remember those in our Guard and Reserve who are committed to protecting the Flag and our country. Many businesses are missing some of their best employees as they serve their country in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other places. In honor of all those businesses, soldiers, and their families--on this flag day--I’d like to remind us, once again, of the Pledge of Allegiance:

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America

and to the Republic for which it stands,

one Nation under God,

indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

To learn more about the Chamber’s programs, including its Military Affairs Committee, call the Chamber at 364-3631 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
