This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Would you like to hear some great advice about international trade, exporting / importing and the possibility of expansion into foreign markets?

On Tuesday, May 17, the fourth Annual Zions Bank International Trade and Business Conference will be held at the Little America Hotel. This part-day conference will be packed with ideas and advice regarding business and the global economy.

Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr. will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers will include Acting United States Trade Representative Peter F. Allgeir and Joe Freddoso, the director of site operations for Cisco Systems.

Other business, government and industry leaders will speak on a variety of key issues. Some of these include a report on the most pressing international trade issues facing the United States; how private and/or public partnerships can leverage a company's ability to compete internationally; or air transport as a critical element in international success.

One very valuable component of the half-day seminar is that each registrant will receive a free copy of the newly published book, "Terrorism and Personal Security: Reduce Your Chances of Becoming a Target." Mac Epps, vice president of international business development at Zions Bank and a former officer of the Central Intelligence Agency, wrote the book. The current political climate adds a whole new element of risk for executives traveling abroad. Timely and enlightening, the book is an excellent resource for anyone traveling abroad.

The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude after lunch at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per person, but participants will receive the $29.95 copy of the book free of charge. This will be an outstanding and profitable day for any business looking to expand into foreign markets.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
