THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Bonneville International, KSL, and the Bonneville Intermountain Radio Group recently announced the awarding of eight scholarships in broadcast communications in Utah.

The Greater Salt Lake Area Chapter of the American Red Cross held its Heroes Recognition Luncheon last week. Among those honored were Captain Roger Williams, who led the Lori Hacking recovery efforts, and Daci Hughes and Emily Howe, area youth who began a Patriots Club to raise money for charity.

This Saturday, April 16th, the Salt Lake Chamber honors Utah’s Citizen/Soldiers at the Salt Lake Military Salute banquet. Keynote speaker is former Senator Jake Garn. Merit Medical is the main sponsor of this event. Come and show your support for our Guard and Reserve and register on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
