This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
If you live in Utah, there is a good chance you have seen some of Eagle Precast Company's work.
With projects such as the Delta Center or the Mt. Timpanogos Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagle Precast designs and manufactures pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete for stadiums, bridges, parking structures, architectural cladding, commercial and industrial buildings, resorts and hotels, and other various projects.
Eagle Precast serves clients in most of the Western United States from its two plants in Salt Lake City and Caldwell, Idaho. It even ships special orders as far as Oklahoma or Hawaii.
The company has been serving contractors since the early 1950s. Builders often choose to use precast concrete because of the significant time it saves in construction. By using precast concrete for the seating in the Delta Center, owner Larry Miller was able to save roughly a year in construction time.
Because precast concrete saves so much time, it is often used in fast-tracked construction projects where time is extremely critical.
In such projects, the greatest challenge for Eagle Precast is getting all the parties involved in the design process to agree on a design so the company can begin manufacturing the necessary pieces before work begins on the job site.
Eagle Precast relies on its highly trained staff of engineers, drafters and craftsmen to be able to execute all the projects in a timely and high-quality manner.
In addition to being one of the largest precast concrete manufactures in the Western United States, Eagle Precast in one of only a handful of companies that is certified in all categories by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.
For Zions Bank, this is Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
