This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Breathtaking! That's the only way I can describe StoneRidge, a golf and recreational community in northern Idaho. The 650-acre community is centrally located between Spokane, Washington and the Idaho cities, Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene.

I visualized the Northwest inland as having thick evergreen forests graced with elk and deer. I pictured deep blue mountain lakes and rolling fields of lush farmland. I imagined I would see nature at its very best. Was I disappointed as I approached StoneRidge? Nope. It was all I had hoped for and much more. This is GREAT country.

StoneRidge has a wonderful golf course. I enjoyed the beautiful mountain setting and the completely restructured greens. Special attention has been given to the dramatic water features and the white sand bunkers. The natural beauty creates a peaceful setting for some great golf, and I really enjoyed my round!

StoneRidge is abuzz with the construction of new homes and condominiums. Greenside condos, as well as spectacular lake and forest neighborhood homes and lots covered with tall whispering pines, are available in this community. I was impressed with the stunning views of distant Montana, the Blanchard Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges.

StoneRidge director Larry Cunningham was a great guide and provided me with the vision StoneRidge people have for this community. Larry was excited as he explained StoneRidge has seen more construction this past spring and summer than it has during the past ten years combined. The community has truly been discovered.

There is fishing on San Souci Lake in the middle of the project, as well as walking and bike trails throughout the development. Community parks, a recreation center with pool and exercise equipment, and the great golf course are also available. StoneRidge provides some of the finest year-round recreation in North America.
