According to a new survey from Accountemps, 59 percent of American workers are optimistic about the economy and the potential for job grouth over the next year. When asked about their own career prospects, 57 percent report being more hopeful now than one year ago, with only 11 percent indicating they are less optimistic. These results show that as the economy improves employers should begin placing a greater emphasis on retention.
