LJUBLJANA, Slovenia (AP) — Slovenian police say a 66-year-old female pedestrian required hospital treatment after being hit by the wing of a small plane which was taxiing at an airport.
Police said Monday that the pilot, a 69-year-old man, apparently lost control Sunday at a small airfield near Ljubljana, and the plane swerved toward the street and hit the woman, who was walking on a parallel path. Police say her injuries were not life-threatening.
Police say an investigation was underway to determine the cause of the incident.
