SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) — Bosnia's prosecution office says it has brought arms trafficking charges against a Bosnian man who allegedly tried to mail two automatic weapon magazines to the United States.
The prosecution office said in a statement Monday that air cargo staff at Sarajevo International Airport checked the outgoing package and discovered its contents — magazines for an AK-47 assault rifle and for a 7.62 mm machine gun.
The statement says 30-year-old Adnan Celebic, has been charged with illegally trafficking weapons and military equipment.
