THIS IS MICHAEL DE GROOTE, IN FOR LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), and the Chamber's Military Affairs Committee are brining an ESGR sponsored NASCAR show car known as "America's Car" to Salt Lake on Wednesday, April 14. At 7:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Hotel, guests of the America's Car Tour are invited to have their picture taken with the NASCAR show car and sign several large "Support our Troops" banners. Then Sgt. 1st Class Layne Morris, 19th Special Forces Utah National Guard and Brigadier General Tim White, US Air Force Reserve (and a Cleveland TV-Anchor) will speak. After the breakfast program, there will be a free workshop on the regulations, best practices, and benefits of employing members of the Guard and Reserve. To register, call the Chamber at 328-5050, or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
