HEBER CITY, Utah (AP) — A man whose car rolled down a 40-foot ravine in Wasatch County managed to climb out to get help despite serious injuries. Utah Highway Patrol officials say the crash occurred Sunday around 2 a.m. on U.S. 40 near Strawberry Reservoir. Troopers say the 41-year-old man suffered injuries to his legs and back.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Zion National Park's continuing popularity has sparked discussions of limiting the number of visitors. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that park officials are planning several public meetings to discuss how to combat overwhelmed facilities and increased land erosion.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A family is seeking unspecified damages from the Boy Scouts and others after two teenagers in a church-sponsored troop cut down a tree that killed a motorcyclist. The lawsuit says a 14-year-old and 17-year-old were unsupervised and not permitted to remove live trees when they felled an aspen along State Route 12.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police have made an arrest in the assault of a man at a University of Utah football tailgate party. The Salt Lake Tribune reported Saturday that police booked a 23-year-old man on a charge of aggravated assault. The suspect allegedly punched the victim in the head as soon as he exited a restroom in a campus tailgate lot Oct. 8.
