SCORE®, the Service Corps of Retired Executives Association, is celebrating 40 years of providing free and confidential small business counseling and training. Chapter Chair J. Alan Francom says that SCORE volunteers assisted 2,180 area business owners last year.
SCORE® is sponsoring a small business workshop tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake County Complex on 2001 South State Street. The workshop provides basic, legal, financial, and management information needed to start and run a successful business. For more information, go to www.score.org.
