FARR WEST— A flatbed attached to a vehicle caught fire on I-15 near SR-143 between Ogden and Willard Bay Friday morning.
The fire started around 11:30 a.m., according to Utah Department of Transportation officials. The fire was likely a result of brake complications, which caused the trailer of wood pallets to catch fire, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
Initially, northbound lanes on I-15 were shut down near 2700 North as a result of the fire. Both lanes have been reopened and the scene has been cleared.
