(KSL News) The Lehi boy injured by a homemade firework continues to get better.
Bridger Hunt is recovering from serious injuries he received July 24th when a homemade firework exploded and sent shrapnel into his thigh area. A family spokesman says Bridger gets out of bed twice a day for rehab and that he's in much better spirits.
His favorite thing is reading e-mails sent to him.
The goal is still that he will again walk on his own two legs, but doctors say he's not out of the woods yet and could still lose his leg if complications arise.
