Governor Palin is pledging to go for it with all she's got. Today, she got plenty of support to do that, surrounded with fellow Republican governors at a lunch.
She is working to keep up the tenacity she showed in her speech last night. At the same time, she is admitting that this race is not going to be a cakewalk. There are going to be countless speeches, debates with Democrat Joseph Biden, and constant scrutiny.
Last night, she assured the crowd she's up to the task. "I have a big job cut out in front of me, running for vice president, and I intend to give this campaign all I have to give, and I look forward to 60 plus days on the trail," she said.
Palin is also emphasizing her experience. She told the group of fellow governors her time in that office in Alaska has prepared her for what's to come.
