Clark and Rich Pierson are the co-owners and founders of Primetime Personal Training. Clark tells me he was inspired to help others get in shape after overcoming his own struggle with weight gain. Once an all-American athlete, Clark's body fell into disrepair after he began flying more than 50 weeks a year for his job. After reclaiming his health and physique, Clark became determined to reverse the epidemic of unhealthy lifestyles in America one life at a time.
Clark and Rich are both fitness trainers and are certified by the International Sports Science Association. They believe resistance training is key to effectively losing weight and train clients using physioballs, stretch cords, body blades and medicine balls. Clark tells me resistance training is more beneficial to weight loss than cardio because your body needs lean muscle to effectively burn fat.
