(KSL News) Firefighters in American Fork were called to a house fire just before noon Thursday.
When crews arrived, the house was engulfed in flames. The fire then spread to a nearby home and melted siding. However, firefighters were able to prevent any structural damage.
No one was living in the home that caught fire. Initial reports are that the fire started in the carport area of the home, although the cause and damage estimates are still being investigated.
