According to a new survey by Accountemps, 43 percent of executives polled said employee job satisfaction is most impacted by one’s relationship with his or her manager. Twenty-four percent said workload and responsibilities is the most important. Nineteen percent said it was compensation and benefits.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is sponsoring Operation Santa to collect new, unwrapped toys to donate to local families of servicemen and servicewomen serving throughout the world. All local Coldwell Banker offices will serve as collection points until December 16th.

Overstock.com and its CEO, Patrick Byrne, were recently recognized by the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee for their donation of $70,000 dollars-worth of products to Iraqi children and U.S. Military in the Middle East.
