Intermountain Health Care has announced donations of $225,000 dollars to help Utah schools prepare more nurses and other health professionals. These donations are in addition to the more than $12 million dollars that IHC spends annually in support of medical training in Utah.

Integra Telecom of Utah announced the launch of an enhanced 411 phone service for Wasatch Front area businesses. Integra Telecom customers will have expanded services that that include category searches, movie listings, concierge services, and more.

Tomorrow, at the Little America Hotel, is the 27th Annual American Express Women & Business Conference. The highlight of the conference is the Athena Award Luncheon, sponsored by Wells Fargo Women’s Financial Services. Three people will be honored at the luncheon as “Pathfinders.” Pathfinders are community leaders who have a history of support for women and women’s issues. One Pathfinder is Sherrie Hayashi, The Director of Utah Anti-discrimination & Labor Division.
