THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel news. USA Lending Group recently added Donald Anderson as Accounting Manager. The Utah Courts System hired Sylvester Daniels as the court executive in the Second District, Rick Davis in the Fifth District, Peggy Gentles in the Third District, and Rob Parkes as Human Resources Director for the Administrative Office of the Courts. This Friday, October 3rd the Salt Lake Chamber's Military Affairs Committee presents “An Airman's View of Operation Iraqi Freedom.” Join us at 8:30 a.m. at the Chamber to hear first-hand about the missions assigned to Major Paul Madsen, one of Utah's Citizen Airmen. Madsen, an F-16 pilot, will discuss the highs and lows of the deployment and share his perspective on why the U.S. was able to dominate the skies over Iraq from the very onset of the war. To register call the Chamber at 328-5053, or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
