Wells Fargo home equity loans and lines of credit reached record numbers for the second straight month. Wells Fargo is also the number one home equity lender in Utah with over $366 million dollars in home equity loans and lines of credit according to RMS Information Services. The volume has increased over 61 percent and the number of units is up over 97 percent compared to last year.

University of Phoenix students and employees raised $9000 dollars for Children’s Education. The Washington School in Salt Lake City, Dee Elementary in Ogden, and Provost Elementary in Provo each received $3,000 dollars.

The American Express Women & Business Conference is coming up on November 12th. The conference is the oldest continuously running conference for women in the country. Over the years the event has changed to reflect the changing needs of businesswomen and is now organized a half-day conference—including the Chamber’s Athena Award Luncheon, sponsored by Wells Fargo Financial Services.
