For the last few days, I have featured businesses near Salt Lake's 900 East and 900 South area in preparation for the Street Festival tomorrow. I've been told that 9th and 9th in Salt Lake is one of the most unique — even "funky" — business districts in town, a gathering of businesses offering tasty food, attractive shopping and extraordinary services. I asked Steve if his store isn't a place more for experts than for beginners. Absolutely not, he told me. As a matter of fact, the store offers several different fly-fishing classes — each one intentionally designed for a specific skill level.
Steve's been in the fly-fishing business for so long that I was interested to know what he thought about fly-fishing, if it felt more like a job to him, rather than a hobby.
