This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
Lee Allen, president of Logan Coach, told me that horse owners are some of the most passionate people he has ever met. It is easy to understand how someone can be drawn into their majestic strength, stunning beauty and absolute grace. A true horse enthusiast understands the amazing connection a rider can have with this marvelous animal.
Logan Coach is an industry leader in the manufacturing of horse trailers. The company was started in 1985 in Logan, Utah. The company didn't have the resources to supply enough trailers to meet market demands. In 2000, Logan businessman Bill Dutro stepped in to give the company badly needed management and financial guidance. With a lifetime of experience in manufacturing high-end metal products, Bill brought a new sense of excitement and innovation to the horse trailer industry.
I really enjoyed watching these beautiful trailers being manufactured as Bill walked me through the plant. I tell you, horses transported in a Logan Coach trailer travel first-class. These units have everything for the animal and the owner. Key attention is paid to safety, comfort, space, convenience, reliability, durability and long-term value.
Now, the trailers are divided in sections. The front section is like a deluxe RV. There are appliances, a shower, beds and an eating area for the owner. In the rear is the specially designed horse section. There is a feeding area, and a special mesh over the windows that provides maximum air circulation while providing protection for the horse. The tact room can be customized in several configurations but there is room for the saddles, bridles, boots, clothing, and other needs for both the horse and the owner.
Logan Coach manufactures and sells the world's only all-galvanized steel trailer. The Tow-EZ system provides a smooth gentle ride for the precious cargo and the driver. Beautifully built, the units' paint and logo design match the beauty of the horse riding in the back.
