This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

As a girl, Angie Najib dreamed of owning a dress shop. Her new 20,000 square-foot store in Midvale must be proof then that dreams do come true.

Angie and her husband founded Frenze Bridal and Tuxedos 14 years ago. In the beginning, they sold their wares wholesale: business and casual clothing mostly, here and there a formal or wedding dress. Nowadays that's their specialty. In fact, Frenze Bridal and Tuxedos has become the one-stop solution for the time consuming, hair pulling and havoc-wreaking task of planning a wedding.

Angie got the idea from her customers. Wouldn't it be nice, they asked, if all of a person's wedding arrangements could be made in just one place, with just one store?

So little by little Angie began offering her customers more options: wedding and bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, flowers, invitations, limousine services, decorations, jewelry, professional wedding consultants — you name it.

I visited the store in Midvale just a few days ago. When I walked in — wow! What a sight! A near-infinite selection of gowns, tuxes and wedding accessories!

Frenze's products and designs are featured on the store's Web site. After the bride has made her decisions, friends and relatives can go online to see the dresses and tuxedos that they'll soon be wearing.

If you drop in for a visit, to look at dresses or plan a wedding, don't be surprised to find Angie out on the floor helping customers. That's a big key, she told me, to her company's success. Otherwise she'd have no way of knowing what her customers like and want to wear. This Saturday, at the Small Business Celebration section of the Harvest Days Fair in Midvale, Frenze will occupy a booth featuring bride and groom mannequins, and be giving away special coupons for select products and services.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
