Gerald Nelson, a principal at Spectrum Engineers, was honored at the Best of State 2003 awards event in recognition of his achievements in the design of electronic systems.

Richard Reeder, a principal in the engineering consulting firm of Van Boerum & Frank Associates, has become the first engineer in the firm to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accreditation. This accreditation is the highest rating standard for sustainable design in building projects and is administered by the United States Green Building Council.
Select Comfort’s manufacturing plant in Salt Lake City recently received the Minnesota-based company’s highest honor, The President’s Award. The 33-employee department was recognized for reducing return rates and improving productivity, achieving four months with zero defects.
