Western Interior Services was recently awarded the contract to handle all the commercial furniture installations at the new Watson Chemical renovation located at the University Research Park. The contract was awarded through Boise Office Solutions. Western also recently completed a major renovation for the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the State of Utah has opted to extend its furniture installation contract with Western for an additional year.

The Department of Workforce Services is holding its first annual Workforce Summit on September 25th at the West Jordan Campus of Salt Lake Community College. The event features three distinct tracks for three segments of the workforce, employers, job seekers, and youth ages 14 to 21. For more information go to jobs.utah.gov.

Layton Construction announced the opening of the new Boise Airport Terminal. The terminal is part of a two-phase construction project spanning three years. The $47 million dollar, 400,000 square foot terminal began construction in July 2001.

Paychex announced a new partnership with ACCPAC International, makers of Simply Accounting software. ACCPAC, a subsidiary of Computer Associates, International, provides business management solutions.
