Last Friday, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building celebrated the 10th Anniversary of its opening. Since the renovated Hotel Utah reopened on June 27th, 1993, over 1.5 million people have attended a wedding event in the building. More than 3 million people have used the FamilySearch genealogy center. And over 3.7 million meals have been served in the building’s restaurants and banquet halls.

DaVinci Advertising & Marketing recently located to a new studio at 255 West 700 South in Salt Lake City. The new location is in a 5,000 square foot warehouse originally built for Packard Bell in 1956.

O’Currance Teleservices, a provider of inbound telemarketing products and services, announced that their CEO, Carla Meine, was named 2003 Utah Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® for the Consumer and Business Services: Sales & Promotion category.

Cohezion Communications recently completed the quarterly Collateral and Stationery Catalog for Unishippers. Cohezion also completed the 2003 Season Program for the Utah Blitzz.

According to Carl Camden, President of Kelly Services, there has been an increasing demand for customer call center and distribution specialists. He says there also has been more demand for IT and engineering professionals.
