Salt Lake City businessman, William Reagan, Chairman of Reagan National Advertising, was recently inducted into the Outdoor Advertising Association of America Hall of Fame. Reagan was one of three outdoor advertising leaders inducted into the Hall of Fame at the association’s Gala Awards Dinner in Washington D.C. Reagan was recognized for his 38 years in the industry.

Ruth’s Diner was selected as one of only ten places in Utah as a Travelocity “Local Secrets, Big Finds.” The selection was made by Utah residents in an online poll at Travelocity.com as a place that locals like to visit and that tourists should try.

Representative Katherine Bryson was presented the Afton Bradshaw Legislator of the Year Award for 2003. The honor was given at the 45th Annual Meeting of Friends For Sight.

Intermountain Health Care has honored Terri Kane with its Theron Godfrey Manager of Distinction Award.

Bonneville International announced the sale of its Bonneville Duplication division to OptiDisc Solutions based in Seattle.

The Chamber is accepting nominations for the Athena Award. Although traditionally The Athena Award honors a woman, both men and women are now eligible to receive the Athena. Nominees should have made significant contributions to the community and the Chamber. Nominations are due at the end of the month.
