THIS IS MICHAEL DE GROOTE FROM THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Utah DataNet, a local web services company, in partnership with Framerate Corporation, has renewed its contract with the City of San Leandro to provide data services for their government access television channel.

Merit Medical Systems, based in South Jordan, was recently named in the top 100 Hot Growth Companies by Business Week magazine. To get on the list, companies are ranked by their three-year results in sales growth, earnings growth, and return on invested capital. Merit Medical was the only Utah-based company on the list and was ranked 75th nationwide.

Business After Hours this month will be at the Utah Arts Festival this Thursday, June 19th. It’s a festive atmosphere for the Chamber’s famous business building networking. There will also be the usual great food and prizes. So check out the Utah Arts Festival and come by the Northeast corner of the City and County building at 5 pm. You’ll be required to get a wristband for entry into the festival, so register first for Business After Hours by calling the Chamber at 328-5077 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
